Where we work
Miami and the towns around it
Based in Little Haiti, we work the north side of Miami: Little Haiti, Little River, Upper Eastside, Morningside, Wynwood, Edgewater, Liberty City and Allapattah, and the towns above it: Miami Shores, El Portal, Biscayne Park, North Miami Beach, Opa-locka, Hialeah, Miami Gardens and North Miami. Home base · primary market
Miami, Florida
Miami is wet from May through October and humid all year, so black algae streaks show on barrel tile and shingle roofs within a couple of seasons, and shaded concrete under live oaks and ficus turns green and slick. The trees are the other half of it: oak, ficus, royal poinciana and mango drop leaves, pods and fruit into every gutter, and ficus roots heave the sidewalks. East of Biscayne Boulevard the salt air adds a film to everything, and iguanas leave their mark on pool decks and walkways.
1920s to 1950s bungalows and Mediterranean revival homes on small lots, concrete block ranches, barrel tile and shingle roofs, concrete driveways and city sidewalks, plus condos and storefronts along the corridors.

The areas on our route
Each one has its own page with the streets, ZIP codes and what dirties the surfaces there. Most are inside 15 minutes of the truck, so ask for the next day we are out your way.
[ Northeast Miami ]
Little Haiti
Summer here runs hot and wet, and the rain feeds black algae on the barrel tile and shingle roofs across Lemon City and Edison Center.
- Lemon City
- Edison Center
- the NE 2nd Avenue corridor
Little River
The rail corridor and the warehouse blocks along NE 2nd Avenue leave a fine grey film of diesel soot and street dust on walls, aprons and sidewalks here.
- Oakland Grove
- the NE 2nd Avenue warehouse blocks
- the NE 79th Street corridor
Upper Eastside
East of Biscayne Boulevard the salt air off Biscayne Bay lands on glass, aluminum and concrete, and it holds grime in place instead of letting the rain rinse it away.
- Belle Meade
- Bayside
- Shorecrest
Morningside
Morningside has the thickest tree canopy on this side of Biscayne Boulevard, and the live oaks and royal poincianas keep the driveways and sidewalks in shade all day.
- the Morningside Historic District
- NE Bayshore Drive
- NE 5th Avenue
[ Northwest Miami ]
Liberty City
Liberty City sits inland on the higher ground west of the interstate, so salt is not the driver out here.
- Liberty Square
- Model City
- the NW 7th Avenue corridor
Allapattah
The produce district and the truck routes along NW 36th Street and NW 17th Avenue coat this neighborhood in diesel soot and street dust.
- Little Santo Domingo
- the Produce District
- the NW 36th Street corridor
[ Just north of Little Haiti ]
[ Northeast, by the Intracoastal ]
[ Northwest of Miami ]
Opa-locka
Opa-locka was built out from Glenn Curtiss's 1926 Moorish revival plan, so barrel tile and painted stucco on Sharazad Boulevard sit a few blocks from 1950s block houses in Magnolia North and Nile Gardens.
- Magnolia North
- Nile Gardens
- Magnolia Gardens
Hialeah
Hialeah sits inland, so salt is not the problem here, minerals are.
- Palm Springs
- West Hialeah
- Hialeah Acres
