How do I know a company will not damage my roof?
Ask what pressure they use on a roof. The right answer is low pressure and a cleaning solution, never a pressure washer. High pressure strips shingle granules, cracks tile and pushes water under the roof. If they cannot answer the question, keep looking. Text a photo of your roof to 786-985-1684 and we will tell you how we would clean it.
Should I get more than one quote?
If it helps you feel sure, yes. Compare what each one includes, not just the number: pre-treatment, oil and rust treatment, the downspout flush, the rinse. A quote that lists the work is worth more than a quote that lists a total.
What should a quote include?
The surfaces being cleaned, the method for each one, anything treated separately such as rust or oil, whether the plants and the gutters are rinsed, and one total for all of it. It should be given after they have seen the property or photos of it, not guessed over the phone.
Is the cheapest quote a bad sign?
Not always, but ask what it leaves out. A low number sometimes means a bare wand instead of a surface cleaner, no pre-treatment, or a pressure washer on a roof that should be soft washed. Fixing etched concrete or a cracked tile costs more than the difference between two quotes.
